Hannah + Mark | Rose and Smiths

These two were so incredibly warm and funny when I first met them over coffee and I’ve been looking forward to their wedding for sooo many months! They got married on St Patrick’s day (Mark being Irish) so it made it even more special. It was a day full of love, laughs, tears, a cheeky bum flash by the groom, cans of Guinness’ being passed around, impromptu dancing before the dance floor officially started. Hannah and Mark revealed to the guests during the speeches that they were expecting a baby later this year!

Lauren + Dougal | Kai Iwi, Wanganui

Lauren and Dougal had originally planned to get married at Omori, Lake Taupo but with covid and traffic light changes, they decided to get married on Dougal’s family property in Wanganui instead. We did a first look and all the bridal party photos at Bason Reserve amongst the stunning autumn colours. The weather couldn’t have been anymore perfect for an April wedding! The ceremony was in the backyard surrounded by trees and bush and they spent the rest of the afternoon playing lawn games and drinking espresso martinis. It was such a relaxed vibe and all the guests were having a great time so we ducked off quietly in a friends Landrover up the hill to catch the sunset before dinner started.
