Peta and I met one summer in our early 20’s when we both worked part time at a juice bar while studying at Uni. It was one of the best summers of my life. Peta and I would work and then go out partying til the early hours of the morning. Fast forward 15 years and I’m shooting one of the most important days of her life! Peta and Ryan’s wedding was one of my highlights this year. The ceremony was a mix of laughter and tears (admittedly, some were from me) followed by a fun bridal party shoot around Wellington’s waterfront. Peta and Ryan who both work in the design industry, gave me a fun brief to work with before their big day. They were really interested in abstract shapes, lines, architecture and textures for their photos. I had done a few days of scouting leading up to their day and together with the spots they found, we came up with a great range of beautiful spots around Wellington for their formal photos.
